THIGH LIFT PROCEDURE
During your consultation with our team, we will outline which customized procedures we will use for your thigh lift. In general, the surgery takes from 2-3 hours to complete. Depending on the complexity of the surgery, you will be put under either general or local anesthetic. The operation begins with an initial incision in your inner leg crease, where it will be minimally visible. Then liposuction is used to remove localized fat deposits. At this point, any excess skin is removed, and skin is re-draped to create a toned and taut appearance. At the end of the surgery, the incisions are closed with sutures and surgical tape is applied, which helps minimize swelling.
RESULTS AND AFTERCARE
Once you leave our practice, there are a few specific aftercare instructions for you to follow, for your benefit. You will be asked to walk one day after surgery, but to avoid exercise for the most part for two weeks. You may need to wear a compression garment for a few weeks, and drains for fluid accumulations. You may experience swelling and discomfort and we will prescribe medication to help you manage this. After four to six weeks, your recovery completes, and as lingering swelling dissipates, you will see the final results of your thigh lift
